Always a student of finance, founder Daryl Phillips transitioned from the field of engineering to the world of finance in early 2000. Motivated by the universal truth that Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail, Daryl has helped hundreds of individuals, families, and small businesses plan for tomorrow. Whether he is working with clients from the inception of their financial journey or simply to improve their existing circumstances, Daryl provides clear and easily understood explanations of complex financial strategies, programs, and services. Jason Murphy resides in Sparta, TN, with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons, Christian and Benjamin. After retiring from the United States Air Force, while also serving in public education for twelve years, Jason has his Series 7 and 66 Securities licenses making him a Investment Adviser Representative and a Broker Dealer Agent. Since 2000, he has been serving others by helping them reduce debt and manage their money through various non-profit organizations such as Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. He feels he's called to teach others how to build wealth on a full-time basis after watching his friends and family make repeated financial mistakes.
Jason can be summed up in one word: committed. Driven to educate and help others, he tirelessly serves on various committees for his church and community. He enjoys a wide variety of hobbies including traveling with his wife, playing sports with his sons. He serves as Chairman of Boys State for the TN American Legion, board member for the Upper Cumberland Development District's - Area Agency on Aging and Disability, and has been an officer for the Christian Motorcyclist Association for the past 8 years. Additionally, Jason is a proud member of the Kingdom Advisors and National Association of Christian Financial Counselors.
